Vintage 2013: Looks like one for the books

2013 is looking pretty good. But I don’t think I would jump to the conclusion that it’s going to be another vintage of the century. There are too many really good years in California.

I haven’t tried this wine but don’t doubt that it’s wonderful. But why is Syrah so admired in the Rhone and so despised here?
